In 1997, KD Ontime cooperated with GDT began to enter the Cuban telecommunication market. In Cuba, GDT has established a joint venture with an abbreviated name of GKT. In September 2000, GDT and Cuba Electronic Group signed the Contract of 2001-2004 Cuba Telecommunication Modernization Improvement with the total contract value of 200 million USD. The contract scope covers modernization improvements on Cuban national telecommunication network, broadcasting and television network, communication industrial infrastructures, and various telecommunications services.


GDT has completed many ˇ°turn-keyˇ± projects of telecommunication network across the world. The quality of these projects and equipment are highly evaluated by governments of related countries. GDT has also established several overseas organs such as Bogota Office, Dhaka Office,
and Havana Office.
In 2002, KD Ontime successfully competed establishing the Cuba testing VoIP platform among Havana, San Diego and PINA DEL NIO. and accomplished the related value-added service by using VoIP technology. The operating services on the VoIP testing platform includes:

Calling card service: Network telephone provides the account service for customer. It can make profit directly. If it is sold directly to the tourist.

ANI customer IP service: Network telephone provides the prepaid long distance call service for ANI customer. This kind of service can avoid overdue in payment by prepayment and can improve calling traffic.

External public switched telephone services: will connect facilities to route international telecommunications traffic and will arrange with other authorized carriers to provide service to various destinations around the world.
When the testing period is over,KD will be responsible for the Cuba whole VoIP network designing ,establishing and supervising.
In Jun 2008 We have come to an agreement with ETECSA for commence cooperation on the field of Sat-telecom, and completed the acceptance test and commissioning up to Apr 2008. We have supplied the phone to phone voice service and incidental add on service for ETECSA. And we both have a wonderful and smooth cooperation so far. There will be mutual visit between ETECSA and KDONTIME at certain intervals for technical exchange, research, training and gaining cooperative proposals on other field.
